About a month ago, the (5-year old) artist formerly known as "Letter Boy" was introduced to Michael Jackson on the Wii:The Michael Jackson Experience.
We may now have to change his online name to "Dance Boy".
He is obsessed. Obsessed.
We don't have a Wii. So he just puts an MJ CD in the player and dances. For one to two hours at a time.
But, kind soul that he is, he wanted to share The Michael Jackson Experience with us.
So he made a Wii remote out of construction paper. And we get to dance with him, holding the remote and following his moves.
And he has the moves, let me tell you.
In honor of The Dance Boy Experience, I am breaking my own rule. I have included a YouTube video of him in his glory.
You don't have to watch the whole thing. Three minutes is too long for anyone besides his adoring grandparents.
But watch a minute.
And share The Experience.

Love it. Glad to see that he hasn’t learned the “crotch grab” yet.
Oh Shar. You are wrong. Three minutes is not nearly enough of this. I LOVE the the reason he didn’t walk to school with us today was because he was busy doing this.
Can we please show him the Thriller Video and teach him how to do that dance?
That boy has got some moves! Just stumbled upon your blog and love it. Love your boy!
Hes scared of Thriller
Thanks, Melissa! And uh, how much do I love the name of your blog?
Is he scared of the song or just the video?
Found this because I REALLY think he needs to learn it…

you know what?
I can’t get enough of this.
Am I an old lady??
If youre an old lady, then Im ancient. xxxooo
So so cute! And he does this for 1 to 2 hours at a time!? Wow!!!
the moves just keep comin’! thanks for sharing;)
Thanks, Tessa. By the way, thats a gorgeous picture on the masthead of your blog–did you take it?
Oh my gosh. He’s good!!!
I’m so glad my children are predictable and uncreative so I don’t have to dance when they wave paper Wii’s at me.
Awesome! He’s got some serious moves. I should join in and burn off some GS cookies.
I watched all 3 minutes AND 28 seconds! It might be the speed of my internet connection, but it looked like Letter/Dance Boy actually has the “running man” down! And his cheeks puff up w/his moves–nice. Now that Miguel is following his namesakes’ dance moves, looks like Rosie has Mick Jagger-esque moves with that tongue action (not to mention the belly button move). As for your cameraman, I got a little dizzy with that upside down maneuver.
Yeah, that cameraman with his tricky shots… nauseating
